Can your IP address be used to track you here by the Garda or will the have to try and get it from EI,I seen it on some newspaper some time ago that the Garda were going to use this,now I know you can hide your IP address or change it even to another Country, Anyone here know much about the IP addresses,

I agree, like most others, but I think it's a valid discussion, because it is always useful to ensure anonymity when using the website.

The easy ability for enforcement agencies to get ip addresses and to decode them could make users of the website a target for sting operations. Unlikely for sure, but it really is unknown how far the guards will go from time to time.

The use of a VPN for some people makes s lot of sense, as it make tracing users a lot more difficult.

Education is never a bad thing. For example those Swedish videos, even though I think the poster was a tool, it is interesting to see the sting tactics and what was done wrong by the punter to get caught.
