OK, there is retrograde and religiously motivated legislation in the pipeline, but there was always other legalisation that could be used (and was used in raids) and it made little difference.
Fear in itself creates problems, more so than the actual legislation ever could.

And what has most waterfowl, got in common with the government? They can all stick their bills up their arse.

Agree don't panic. But things will not be the same anymore. Sadly I will do less punting because the risk however quantified will have to enter into the equation. Apart from anything else I would get physically ill
having to hand over 500 quid to the devious bastards that run this country. Of course there are ways of reducing perhaps eliminating the risk of getting busted but that will require more time effort and money.
There is something uplifting about making an appointment to see a beautiful lady at the drop of a hat. Now one would be wise to take time to carefully consider the individual you visit and the venue where any meeting takes place.
As I have often stated I have the option of departing these shores and it is an option which I am giving serious thought to exercising. My advise would be rather than hanging around waiting to eventually get your collar felt join in a campaign to
have this madness repealed or overturned in the courts.

Well said Steve, I think peeps on here need to calm down and stop getting their knickers in a twist over this law, just use the brain in your head and not the one in your trousers, when booking a lady and you'll be grand.

In the 'Sex Work & Media' forum, there's a thread 4 leading expert groups condemn new sex law. Get behind them, get in touch with them, voice your concerns & maybe the voices of many can make common sense prevail.

One would have been a lot wiser to consider this all along and not rely on the state to force one's morals.

    Westside.

    That's not true.

They give a shit about where she was working from and what other establishments they might now have to cross off their lists.

Hate to say it but I think it is going to make a big difference here. I suspect once a few high profile cases make it to the public eye, it will all go underground (more so than now) and although never quite fade away, the risk will not be worth the reward.

Same could be said for the new drink driving ban to be honest - one pint and you're potentially off the road for 3 months.

    Nanny state indeed.
