Most of the foreign girls here appear to have been forced into this mostly because of economics. I have ended up helping some of the girls I have met here (some are popular here) moved on to something else because they made it obvious to me how much they hate this job when I gained their confidence. That has made it very uncomfortable for me to continue seeing these girls and because of that I stopped punting all together. On the other hand the very few Irish I came across seem to have chosen this and seem to love it as their job. You leave them without any guilt on your mind. That for me is important. Maybe for the foreign girls, this law is not too bad. Unfortunately, it affects everyone.
Forced or coerced? I think a lot of girls/lads who are in the trade don't really like it but they do it for the money just like many of us who turn up for boring jobs because we need the money.
However, some a minority are under some form of duress and undue pressure to provide sexual services. This is not right and these people do need help to exit. But what the idiots who voted this crap in
fail to realise is that they will make the lot of some workers much worse. They will endanger further people already working in dangerous circumstances. Finally they will give rise to potential suicide among clients who
find out the enormity of a conviction when it is too late and additionally will open up the potential of blackmailing of clients by third parties including escorts and police. This is surely an appalling vista and I for one
am looking at the possibility of leaving Ireland in the coming months partly as a result of this madness.

While on the subject of dirty tricks. Is there any possibility that any of the politicians/ civil servants who produced and supported this legislation are or have been purchasers of sexual services.
If so should they be outed???

There is not enough guard resources to watch everywhere..

Obviously it puts clients off having fun for a while but choose your special lady/ guys and location, and the fun can continue xxx

It's generally accepted that about 1 in 10 men have punted at some stage and I suspect it is probably higher in Ireland, that's a lot of voters! Would 1 in 10 men have driven while over the limit in the last 10 years, possibly not! Any poll conducted before its introduction suggested that the majority of people did not agree with it!
The main political head behind it has lost all credibility!
These all add up to not a single vote gained by introducing it and surely a few lost!
    Ride them on the beaches!

this is a different law, it is not the same for you girls, you won't be crimilised, its us that are paying for sex not you[/QUOTE

I can see your point and it is up to you whether you stop seeing ladies! However

Just to clarify my clients pay for my time and not any particular service!! The guards would have to prove that any sexual services were taking place.

Also Fred, if you see discreet ladies like myself we ensure all tracks are covered such as location numbers/messages erased etc..

    Happy hump day
    that is not too difficult

The girls can get prosecuted as it is, they get their earnings taken off them and name in the paper what is coming in now is not even a level playing field thats all and guys cant handle it. Married men and people with good jobs will be ashamed and stop punting or be very very careful. Lots of guys will just go on as they are what difference does it make ? Mick the binman got caught in a brothel €200 fine and name in the paper who gives a fuck really. There may be an added thrill to the encounter now.

no they can not unless they are running a brothel, 2 or more sharing an apartment, if that is the case then the premises is searched and all monies and equipment/phones are confiscated for evidence, then they prosecute and depending on the judge sometimes a jail term but its at his descretion

How many ladies do you know are TOTALLY alone in an apartment? They almost always have a friend or someone for company. When the Gardai get a warrant they can do what they want and take what they want they just say the other girl ran or slipped out. Escorts have had it hard for years and its going to get harder. What I see here is a bunch of punk ass bitch clients worried about a fine or their fat arse wife finding out that they are a sleaze bag grow a pair lads will yous, life changes , shit happens.
