After the President signs it, must be published in the official state gazette. Was it published yet?

I believe once is published the law is good to go.

As of yet, it hasn't been published however the Ministers Commencement Order by way of Statutory Instrument is crucial. When that is provided, the Act is given a date to commence, perhaps on the day the Order is made and the whole process is complete.

I think that would be hard to know in advance, when it is published, I mean.
When it is, and how it is enforced, I think we will have to wait and see. Still waiting and seeing in the North!

Like i said before, if the cops are after the nasty bastards ( and fair play ) then the average punter is ok. But there us no way to tell. And someone here trying to convince me.....wont.

One thing tho. I feel everyone failed/fails to post about it in a simple manner, the process of passing the law in this country I mean.

Please, not everyone has a brilliant English or a thing for law, as result one might not understand what's the story.

If you are in a Hotel room with an Escort all alone how in the name of Jesus can a Guard or Judge or anyone for that matter
prove that you are paying for sex?? . The only way you are going to get caught with this new law is if you are in a place where there is more
than one girl working that would be known to gardai as that could be considered a brothel. I know at least 3 girls here in Cork who work from
their own private Apt and what happens in your own Apt with another person can be seen as your private life and who can prove otherwise?.
