Or travel to or go to live somewhere that doesn't have draconian feminist legislation or maybe just carry on regardless and hope you don't get caught or openly defy and challenge the law or as you say arrange discreet secure meetings

Bear in mind that they've had this law in place in Northern Ireland for a few years now and NO ONE has been convicted of paying for sex. So I don't expect it will happen here in the south either to be honest. The only change I can see is that there will be news coverage when it is passed, some clients will be afraid and stop seeing escorts which will have a negative impact on our livelihoods, and things will more or less go back to normal after a few months. I think the only long term changes will be the decriminalisation of street-based sex workers - which is great! - and the increased criminalisation and penalties for indoor workers who work together, 'brothel-keeping' - which is shit!

They ran out of time before getting through all the amendments today so it's going to have to be rescheduled for another day. At least that's a small delay for this stupid law!
