Worth checking out Michael Lynn's (highly respected Human rights lawyer currently before the courts regarding gay ban on blood donation constitutionality) assessment of Part 4 of the Bill on SWAI's website - despite his reflex support for the law, his view is that the law almost certainly contravene's the rights of sex sellers in terms of privacy and safety. Canada's Supreme Court found unanimously 9-0 in favour of striking down such laws tho the pro-Swedish Model Harper govt determinedly applied principles of criminality in a parallel way to meet that judgement. Would be surprised if the challenge was defeated tbh.

It's not beyond the bounds that a succeesful challenge to this Irish Law in the ECHR (OK it would take years) would lead to the so called NORDICK Model taking it up the hole throughout Europe, in which case we would have a lot to be thankful for to the self declared feminist, who is the minister for everyone else's interior!

Yes its challengeable but how will it fair out, we just don't know, law is never straightforward or clear cut, the government have the upper hand and can tie it up too for ages with the usual messing about and BS.

countries will made their own laws depending on circumstances, I definitely see Scotland having a go at it sometime in the near future but will sit back for now and watch for the time being, governments here past and present have made some right idiotic laws, it is not getting any better
