Would criminalising a disabled person paying for sex be considered a crime worthy of a conviction.

The BBC say there was an increase in the UK of disabled women and women paying for sex in this BBC report from 2009.

On top of the misfortune of having a disability the Irish government will also brand a disabled person, who naturally needs sex in their life, with a criminal record.

Unless the new bill excludes all with a disability of some particular form(s) from the Sex Offences Bill.

That would not work, it would still be considered a crime and how do you define disabled as would be opening up another can of worms that the Government don't need.
