I'd say the same. i wish I had never done it.
I've found I'm much less willing to approach non escort women now as I can get the sex for much less effort. But I do miss the emotional connection you get with non escort women.
I tried approaching a woman in a cafe last week and I was so out of practice I just made an ass of myself. I didn't realise that punting would affect me like this.
