    After its demise, RTE used the 252 LW frequency to broadcast RTE Radio 1,until they finally pulled the plug on that service a few years ago-much to the chagrin of some older Irish people in Britain.
    Their studios were in Trim, Co. Meath and their DJ worked standing up which was very unusual for radio DJ's at that time all their adverts were from the UK as was their main target market for the station. If memory served me correctly Pat Kenny (now of Newstalk) was one of the directors
