So much of it was exaggerated nonsense and the economic theory was bonkers and certain to fail. His notion that ordinary Americans wealth went to foreign countries was bull, it went to the filthy rich in America. His isolation and protectionist notions failed in the past and will fail again.

    Went something like this:

"Thank you everyone, former presidents etc. America is fucked. I mean seriously it's a hell hole. We're living hand to mouth, no education, no jobs and we're dying in the streets.

    But I'll fix it.

Now who'll help - you? Are you in? Yeah? And you... You're in, right, urine, and you... urine too? Good..."

    That's the 30 second synopsis...

It is possible, but I think businesses won't all move solely on tax requirements and rates.

Remember a company has to make a profit in order to pay taxes. If it's not making money it won't pay any taxes.

So it's not like tax policy will make a struggling company profitable all of a sudden.

And simply put, the USA can't afford to cut the total revenue income. If they cut corporate taxes, they have to make up the shortfall somewhere else.

The American people are a consumer nation. The country runs on cheap goods imported from China so people can buy things cheaply in Wal-Mart.

All this talk of tariffs and isolation will just make things more expensive for the average man on the street, and companies will pay the tariffs because they will be cheaper than hiring US employees and manufacturing in the USA.

Did they have an elementary school competition with the winners speech to be read out by him after he was sworn in

Sounded like something he wrote in the car on the way to the whitehouse

He thinks he has sole power to do anything he wants.........in reality he will find there is plenty that he needs approval for.

He will meddle with tax/off shore companies etc and likely cause us grief here because of it ,but if he consistently causes headaches with regard dangerous foreign or world issues by saying stupid things without consultation I predict the CIA etc will "Intervene"................#conspiracytheoryinthemaking

Having recently lost the run of myself.....
