    Default The Big 'V'

apologies in advance if this was covered to death on here before I joined, but

is anyone willing to share their experiences on viagra?

I'm not looking for medical advice or anything like it. It may be for me, it may not.

Like, when you take it, how long before it kicks in? Do you still have to be turned on a little before it works it's magic? How long before the affects wear off?

I'm considering it. Its not day 1 (or maybe even 2 in a row) that's the issue. It's days 3, 4 and so on (in a row).

    Do you suffer from ED?

If yes, definitely try it! It affects different people different ways. Some get more powerful orgasms, some get delayed orgasms, some get headaches, blue tinted vision, runny noses, facial flushing, etc.

If you get a script from your doc, go home and pop one...see how it affects you.

There are a couple of other similiar drugs for ED also if viagra doesn't suit.

Try them, they have given back sex lives to loads of guys.

Ps. Avoid grapefruit juice...diminishes the effect.

Cialis is better for daily use.

If you don't need it, don't try it. Some "friends" of mine thought it would be funny to spike my food with viagra. The swelling didn't go down for ages no matter what I did.
My wife caught me wearing ladies underwear and threatened to leave me.
So I packed up all her clothes
    And left.

thanks so much for that. I do have ED but it's not all the time (if that makes sense). I was reading up on it - about herbal supplements (l-argenine and pycnogenol), etc. I read that ED is rarely permanent and that viagra might just be a band-aid solution to something that might be resolvable indefinitely.

My lady is being very patient with me. I have the odd good day and make the most of that. The few after I might struggle to get all the way up.

I reckon I'll pay the doc a visit (though I might try the supplements first).

    thanks again.

I'd advise you to see your doctor, if only to make sure that your ED isn't a symptom of a more serious condition.
Most cases aren't but it's best to be sure.

Your testosterone levels might be declining also, so a patch or injection would also give you your mojo back.

Problem with viagra and similar drugs, they act on the blood vessels to the penis to give you a solid erection, they solve impotence. However, they don't affect your libido ( horniness), or semen production.

Good news though!! Research is ongoing to develop aphrodisiac type drugs for both men and women. A peptide ( PT-141) has been used to increase libido in both men and women by working on the brain rather than blood vessels. Also a prolactin analogue is being researched which reduces the refractory period ( how many time you can cum in a day).

Both are showing very promising results.

I predict that in 10 years time, men and women in their 50's will be as horny and as sexually able as they were when they were 25.

    Interesting times ahead!
