My view :
If you are intent on accomplishing a goal (quit smoking , lose weight , etc. ) , you
do not need Jan 1st to set yourself in motion .
That's number one .
Second , from observing all those around me and society at large , 99.999999999% of New Years Resolutions fail ... why ?
Because people just go through the montions and the notion of doing this and doing that ; of quitting this and quitting that ..
: It's a very well known fact that GYM membership sales skyrocket just before or around Jan 1st , and hardly any at all are still attending by mid-Feb .
If you
mean to do something , accomplish something , you
do not need Jan 1st and 'New Year's Resolutions' .
You
Just Do It !! XX
*But good luck to all , hope you succeed in what you set out to do , and hope you keep to your promises ;
most of all the promises you make to yourself
