well done EI; my suggestions would be Simon, Focus irl, Alone or Unicef.

I was thinking along the same lines when I first saw this wonderful idea but I agree with you IDF that as much as Laura Lee needs support it would be rather self serving in this case.
There have been so many wonderful charities already mentioned it is going to be extremely difficult for E-I to make a final decision.
Two charities that I have a soft spot are:
The RNLI whose volunteers do an amazing job saving lives not only at sea but also on our inland waterways https://rnli.org
The Irish Guide Dogs for the blind who provide an amazing service to allow those without sight to have an independent life http://www.guidedogs.ie/iopen24/

Well done to all. A lovely idea and gesture. Maybe it could be done more often.
My nominations would be http://www.pieta.ie/ and https://www.milfordcarecentre.ie/
Two superb organisations

judging by some posters / punters it should go to a mental health charity or a charity that helps escorts who have to deal with these individuals
Other opinions are allowed

I think it should be between
*child abuse victims
*mental health awareness
*women's aid/protection
All Great causes for the vulnerable

I think the Peter McVerry trust should be in there with a shout ,

If you tell the truth in the review it won't be published. 90% of the reviews are fake and 99% of the photos!
What about The Immigrant Council of Ireland.
I take exception to that remark! I have always told the truth when writing a review and have never had an issue with them being published! Unless you have personally visited 100% of the advertisers you are not in a position to make a statement claiming 90% of the reviews and 99% of the photos are fake.
This thread which is dedicated to a good cause. It is not the place to air your views on the review system if you have an issue then PM the mods don't try to undermine a positive gesture made by E-I
