You are correct — I did comment on your post! I don't believe the new law (which is not here) has any major influence on the current climate the girls are working in and I don't see it affecting their business that much! The reason I commented was because it was directly related to the OP's topic!

Its not the clients that are at fault but the escorts. They to a certain extent has brought it all on themselves here and this site encouraged it.
Most escorts couldn't lie straight in bed and lie about most things like age, nationality, boobs and favourites and then start whinging when it all blows up in their faces and blames the clients.

You make a valid point I think — policing the capital is somewhat different to policing a small town where everyone knows everyone and all about them.

There is also the local media to take into consideration — many provincial towns have a local news paper and they are always looking for local news. Dublin doesn't really have the same type of press so what can make it into provincial local papers wouldn't get a look in here in Dublin.

For example, I was visiting a friend in the city centre a couple of weeks ago. I thought I heard gun fire then all of a sudden cops appeared from all directions in cars and vans — I later heard from a local that there was indeed a shoot out around the corner from where I was but no one got shot — none of this made it into any media that I'm aware of!

yes there are a lot more police around the capital with hardly any in rural Ireland as several stations have been closed down, its much easier to raid rural areas, the smaller towns and cities and gives the Guards / police something to do. Also rural areas, people tend to be closer knitted community and you have these nosy people reporting on escorts and demanding something to be done, we have also escorts who report other escort too to get rid of the competition.
