    Default Anxiety

A topic that not many people like to talk about or find it hard to talk about.

Anxiety is a feeling of unease, such as worry or fear, that can be mild or severe.
Everyone has feelings of anxiety at some point in their life – for example, you may feel worried and anxious about sitting an exam, or having a medical test or job interview.

This is something that can really effect your life and those around you in a bad way if it is not treated properly.

Many people don't realise that they have it or even know what to do when it comes to it.
Anxiety is something that many people suffer with and unfortunately they do alone.

This may tell you if you have anxiety or not.

    ---

I myself suffer from anxiety from time to time.
In fact, my first time getting an attack, I wasn't scared as I didn't know I had it, but I was more confused.
The first time was a few years ago when I was working elsewhere at the time, I felt a short at breath very quickly and my heart was racing so fast, over 200bpm and I had to sit down and rest for 5 minutes till it calmed down.
I felt that the more I had the attack, the more I found it easy to control, but it wasn't always that easy to control and I would be run down and tired.

    ---

Many of you guys here may not wish to talk about it, but it is always a good too.
    Nobody should ever suffer alone.
There are many ways of helping you or others, not to cure it, but to help deal with anxiety.

Did you know that even Salt Lamps are a good source of helping you?

My girlfriend got me one and when I'm watching TV in the evenings, I turn the lights of and turn my lamp on.
It is a nice relaxing sensation and I think that it does help me at times and thinking of getting some more for each room.

Are you suffer from it or know anybody that does?
If so, how do you deal with it?

+1 Floki. Another anxiety sufferer here. My bouts range from not-that-bad to absolutely crippling (panic attacks, etc). I had it for at least 20 years before I even knew what the hell was wrong with me. Ever since I found out and read all about it, not to mention finding out that so many others have it, I've been much, much better. I still get bad spells now and then, but by-in-large things are good.
