Economic cycles go up and down, but not on glacial timelines. The causes are numerous and I'm not going to dispute economic legislation.

My main concern, as posted in the OP, is that a supreme court decision like this will regress the USA socially, and due to the nature of the supreme court, it will literally be decades before a progressive path could return.

And in recent breaking news, Trump agrees to settle(for $25million)in fraud lawsuits against '' Trump University ''. The lawsuits relate to claims by students that they were duped into paying up to $35,000 each for seminars, where instructors would reveal Trump's secrets of real estate investing. The lawsuits involved the NY Attorney General and class actions brought by up to 6,000 students. Of course, as part of the settlement no wrong doing was admitted. The primary aim of the students was to recoup their fees.

So as in Ireland you approve of people who promise before the election and then change course rapidly afterwards. The wall is turning into a fence fairly rapidly, for instance.
You also endorse racism and misogyny as effective Electoral tools in a modern, enlightened, pluralist democracy (which we often mistake parts of the US for)
