I've PM'd a few but I've only had a proper conversation with 1.

maybe trying to have conversation after just a few pm's is giving the wrong impression? some would consider it a bit full on. a girl's time is money after all. if the pm's arent working then you need to bite the bullet, take a more direct approach. as long as you're polite it'll always be ok to ring. again, polite and precise with date time and requests is all it takes. save the chatting til you get there, get used to face to face interaction again cuz doing it over pm's wont do much to build your confidence
