The old tar everyone with the same brush means in the Health and Safety Executive has the maximum a man is expected to lift and carry is 25kg and a woman is only 16kg. But I got paid the same and was expected to do the heavy lifting. Wage gap (at least at that level) my hole.

    Just answer me this

    Pick 5 guys form here
Pick 5 women who are training using weights

And ask them to do a standard army training session

Are you saying 5 untrained men will be automatically fitter faster and stronger?

We know more now on how to train a body how to prep it feed it and work it
Go to any gym and watch not oggle women training

Diet is massively important for fitness and conditioning

Did the clay pigeons wait patiently for you to arrive or did they travel to meet you and ambush you on the way?
    Can you do a minimum of 50 press ups-in 2 minutes, 50 sit-ups in 2 minutes and 7 upper body pull-ups?
Can you carry two Jerry Cans each weighing 20 kilograms along a total distance of 150 metres? With your arms by your side and carrying one Jerry can in each hand you will be expected to complete this course in less than 2 minutes.
Can you run 2.4km (1.5 mile). The time you have to complete the run will vary depending on the position within The Army that you have applied for. Basic British Infantry– Run Time 12.45 Parachute Regiment - Run Time 09.40

    I could go on.
    could you?

Of course not. But do you think employers (at the low income/temp level) give a damn about that?

I'm a fat doughy lump of shite but get expected to lift up to the HSE limits, since they assume that all men are strong and good for manual labour and all women are weak and can't do it.

Edit: no doubt the army goes off the same generalisations

And that is wrong I was once told not to lift something but get a man and only guy was this small slip of thing half my size who couldn't even push the box dont MInd lift it.

Plus lifting is hugely technique also

    Can you say the same?
I'm 10 foot tall, made of unobtanium, a black belt in fuckshitsu and could shoot the pecker of a pubic lice from restraining order distance. But I'm also realistic, I know not every man should have to live up to my standard.
