Meanwhile the Guards and teachers are striking with the health service in a total mess — interesting what they think is important

This may be a controversial opinion to express on this particular website but....

I happen to agree with him, I think the easy access to pornography is seriously damaging the relationships and expectations of young people and this will become more apparent in the years to come.
Use that organ between your ears a bit more lads

That's a perfectly valid point but do you think we need the government to tell us what we can and can't do? Parents have a responsibility.

Teachers have said in response that they are not qualified to teach about internet safety, and that they are not councillors.

I would prefer the government stayed the hell out of my private life.

    I. Was about to say something similar.
The implied point is about underage people accessing not just pornogrwphy but extreme forms of pornography.
And further down the line when some of these people are older, think of the more extreme requests that may be directed at escorts from guys who have grown up watching the kind Of stuff that is available to anyone on line ;-)

Precisely. Parents need to take ownership of their responsibilities.
Same shit with blaming fast food outlets for childhood obesity.

Tell them the 23per cent rate of VAT on nearly everything you buy is interfering in my private life too.

This has been debated at length in the UK
General consensus is that education that porn is not real life is the simple answer.
But, as has been said, not a solution in a religious society where even sex education is controversial.
