That's odd as I was told that STI's were rather high in Ireland at the moment due to a new wave of divorced people in their 40s and 50s letting rip with their freedom and ability to have sex with who ever they wanted. Unlike the more savvy youngsters they are forgetting to use condoms, which is the main culprit of the STI's. You are far safer having sex with a sex worker than picking someone up in a club or bar who may just want to make hay while the sun shines.

thank you kate for your replies and you are correct
at least there is one sensible person on here who doesnt just laugh at everything
i think you all are thinking that i think escorts have diseases which i dont.....which is why id rather go there than a club and pick up who knows what.
i have a friend who visits escorts and now after the end of a long relationship im going to give this a go and see some beautiful ladies
all i am saying is the nurse at the end of the exam was very much pushing me to get it that day.....but she gave me the info and i said i would think about it but it seems like there is nothing to think about....its a clear answer

I think HPV is a bit different to chlamydia, as in most people of 20's + may have it in them lying dormant and never be aware of it, but can pass it on. Once you are sexually active there is no way of being vaccinated as it could already be in your system. This is why they give it to girls before they become sexually active (the vaccine that is). You could have the vaccine for HPV today and still carry it and it may never stop being dormant. Most people do not get cancer or any other illness from it. Where as Chlamydia can be cured once it has been discovered and once it has been treated it won't do any harm.

Me personally I would not enter into a relationship with anyone without having tests first if I was considering having unprotected sex with them and I would expect my partner to do the same. There are many STI's that can be in the system without knowing, as often symptoms don't show up straight away. Anyone participating in any sexual exploits, be it with sex workers, swinging, casual sex or fuck buddies, should get regular tests, even if they do everything protected, as accidents do happen.

Jessica you can't expect people to not have concerns about STI's when entering into a world of sex with unknown people. As long as they are not pointing the fingers and making assumptions and are willing to listen that is what matters. I would rather have someone asking questions than asking me for bareback any day of the week.

I was focussing on the STI bit. Anything remotely racists isn't going to be acknowledged by me as I don't agree with it. I didn't reply to anything about that either, it was just about STI's.

Racism is nasty, but ignorance can be changed.
