As the mobile version is not working properly, you should apologise to the poster, not tell him to look properly for his thread.

Sorry Rachel, did you read the title of his thread? I don't tell people how to do their job properly however this gentleman did apologies already so I don't know why you bring this up again. We are mods not IT department, we are messenger of the company and seems like everything is our responsibility. Really I don't know what to think now I am the rude here when Im always respectful with everyone whatever.

Yes, I did see he apologise after I quoted you but it doesn't matter. To me, your first reply seemed a bit rude.

Exactly, you are the messenger and the one we have contact with. We do not chat to your IT department, therefore we will complain and blame you for everything.

A few days ago - I put a thread up on here about my Galaxy Tab device automatically defaulting to the mobile version of this site.

There followed a brief interchange with the Dev Team.

I explained that with the bigger screen on the Galaxy Tab it was easier to browse the main site.
The Dev team responded with info on where you can find the button to get to the main site.

I could not find the button and revisited the main site (on a laptop) to find my original thread to verify the information.

Low and behold my original thread was no longer here – It must have been removed.

Surely common curiosity / good practise / professional operational guidelines
would dictate that the creator of the thread would at least get a notification that their thread was being deleted & the REASON
or am I expecting too much.

I would understand not getting this if
I was a serial poster on here or a common poster of some of the more abusive shite that is so common on here

Something I also mentioned which is still relevant is that the Password requirement for the mobile site & main site are different

My passwords are the same for both ? I find the desktop site much easier to you but the mobile one could be good if you get used to it. It's not like they have taken away the desktop we just have two options from what I can see.
