"People who pay for prostitutes bear “responsibility for the lives stolen by trafficking”, Minister for Justice Frances Fitzgerald has said."

    The Minister's speech.

But the alcohol industry brings in millions in revenue for the government, so the drunken rapes, battered wives, neglected children that's all brushed under the carpet but two consenting adults can have sex with reward because it's wrong.
Fucked up country we have. If we are going to follow Europe on their laws regarding water and taxes why can't we follow Germany and Holland on their laws on prostitution?
This is not new for us Dublin had the largest red light district in Europe for hundreds of years.
    The Laois Legend Returns.

I felt the program was leaning to the anti-sex side, well that's my thoughts

Kinda the point I was implying.
If they were collecting a billion a year on taxes from the sex trade there'd be no movement by the government.
They don't want court cases only on the spot fines for their coffers

Says the Minister who covers up Sweden's increasing child & adult trafficking problem to market criminalisation of both parties as a success....

    I thought it was balanced.
Kate and the anonymous escort in the white mask came across well.
Rachel Moran comes across as what she is; a very confused mixed up person. She would have had “issues” no matter what line of work she was in.
But, most people will believe what their prejudices and upbringing tell them to believe.

obviously I am bias, but felt like Kate came across as much more likable.
they even included the footage where she was not given the chance to present the evidence to the Minister.

The guy that Kate McGrew was having phone sex with... I am almost certain that was Barney Rubble.
