They won't wait till Febuary they have already said the end of the year or sooner. The Minister has cross party agreement which texhnically doesn't even need a vote. Tomorrow is discussing the amendments she wants put in. A Taoiseach in waiting isn't going to delay something that will be seen as a major victory for her and cement her popularity for the job.
There will be a delay but no way it will not be signed in before their Christmas Holidays or even before that if she wants. She gave a speech yesterday about the changes that got the agreement of the other parties. Finna Fail will vote to back it that's all they need. The bill itself if you take away the sex work part of it is something that has to be passed. It's a pity the sex work part was included in it but the tactic has worked.
I would think we won't even know when it becomes law it will just happen.
She failed the last time she won't this time. After tomorrow the bill can be sent to the President if it's passed at any time. And any amendments can be made even when it's signed into law. It hasn't been snook back into play for no reason.
Who knows Mick Wallace could throw a spanner in the works again let's see.
