Roger Moore was James Bond for me.
Wolverine (29-09-16)
Timothy Dalton was a fine bond, but maybe a bit too serious.
This film was the reason Roger Moore went on too long, he was going to replaced after For your eyes only, but this alternative Bond film was being made so Mr Broccoli didn't risk having a new Bond. It was a remake of Thunderball, one of the writers had the rights to the story after a court case. The same man was going to do a second remake of Thunderball in the nineties and have an alternative Bond franchise. He had the rights to names Blofelt and Spectre, which only reverted back to Broccoli after his death, hence their revival in the last bond film.
Never liked the bond films.
I didn't watch the saint. If I'm honest, I didn't really enjoy the Bond movies either, but I was forced to go watch it at the cinema to my Bro could see it. I would spend my time playing in the ladies toilets putting money in the machines (don't ask). I was too young to really appreciate it I think.
