Chairman of Failte Ireland resigns
Time for a little rant..!!! Failte Ireland have been promoting 'stay at home holidays' for weeks. They also advise against 'non essential travel' .... and the Chairman goes to Italy on his holidays.... what category of 'dumbness' does this fall into....and what higher level of 'dumbness' was thinking he'd get away with it....Forced to resign, that was an expensive holiday, !!!! I know Italy is in the Green Zone, but considering his position he should have had a bit more sense...

It's mindboggling to think that he didn't consider holidaying in Italy mign't be his best move. I'm sure he's a competent, intelligent and articulate gentleman to have achieved such a position in Failte Ireland, but what part of his 'brain' thought this was a good idea....
