Cancelling an appointment at the last minute

A problem I have often encountered is girls who have very poor English and are unable to give accurate directions over even quite short distances. I recently encountered this problem when I contacted a lady from a Luas stop that I had been directed to. That is when the fun started. After almost an hour searching and 4 or 5 conversations I finally located her app complex which was less than a minutes walk from the tram stop. It is a very large complex with hundreds of units and she was then unable to give good directions about finding her room. I had to abandon the punt as I was in danger of missing the last train home. A text (some girls do this) would have greatly simplified matters and both parties would have met up. I appreciate the security risks attached to giving out such details but for some it is necessary or they will lose potential custom.

And those same ladies think "everybody else can find the apartment with those directions" not thinking that those clients were in that apartment regularly. There I one discrete place that I like to visit but another premises uses the same carpark as a landmark but clients stick out like sore thumbs there. Escorts in the second place are usually unaware of the "competitions" location or even that the carpark has 2 exits.

On the topic of location I'd like a bit of advice. It's interesting to see the comments on here but I've got to say it is an issue.

I'm in Belfast. (That ought to say it all, eh?).
It's a small town and a couple of locations are used. Even before the law change I was always wary about going there - if I know about them then I'm pretty sure loads of people & even the authorities know about them. It's made me much more reluctant to visit.
& of course there are areas where I just wouldn't go anyway, or if I did it would be the one time & while it was in the only thing that was on my mind was being in that particular area..
Obviously hotels and out calls are ideal but sometimes that's not possible..

So I guess I'm saying, I do tend to seek out some info on the location before I can commit.. The girls usually provide the post code and from there I'd know the lay of the land and whether to proceed or not.

I don't give a postcode and wouldn't do that upon request either. General info so you have an idea of how long to give yourself to get to me before booking and car parking advice upon booking taken, with the rest when on foot.

Belfast is not that different since the law changed. Sure you need to be careful, but it's more about avoiding over used places. I've heard people say that they don't visit the area that I work in, but I can assure you or anyone else that my place is not on the radar, because I don't take risks.

It's not just the location you need to consider, but the reputation of the sex worker too.

You try phoning and explaining that you will be driving 30 minutes or longer and trying to make sure that she answers the phone again to you at the appropriate time and you get " yeah, I'm in Portlaoise/ Kilkenny/Whatever baby, phone me again when you get to town. I did have one occasion where I explained that I could not visit a hotel in a particular town but the final directions brought me straight to that hotel.
I've also had one occasion that an escort thats responded to this thread, didn't show for an incall appointment. Phoned her once every half hour for 2 hours, to be told that she had been on an outcall when she took the short notice appointment and she couldn't get a taxi back, then said "O I didn't thought you'd be gone to someone else when I texted you that I was running late and I have another client on the way now.

Well for me there's areas of some towns that I don't punt in, theres even areas that i wouldnt even park my car in. There's also a lot of hotels that I'm well known in.

Thanks for the replies. I’ll try to clear up some of the confusion as best I can.

Kate mentions that this girl is terrified because I have her exact address. I don’t have her exact address. She said she’d send it, but she never did.

I am aware of the hassle cancellations are for an escort. That’s why I posted, and I made a point of mentioning how aware I am of just what hassle it is in the post.

I had no problem with the location. The thread has gone off-topic about that. The location was fine.

Some people have said that I didn’t explain why I cancelled. I did.

The real reason I cancelled is because I was worried that the girl I’d meet wouldn’t be the girl I’d been talking to on the phone.

Some people have suggested that I go in anyway, and if something’s fishy I remind whoever’s there that I’m under no obligation to buy and turn around again. But the reason I’m concerned about someone else doing the talking is because I’m worried the girl is working against her will.

It could be that traffickers will be accepting of a client’s buyer’s remorse on discovering a trafficking situation. But it’s unlikely, isn’t it? Therefore, if I send the girl a shitty excuse the traffickers think I’m just someone who shat himself and she’s not in (even more) trouble.

This website is (correctly, imo) plastered with anti-trafficking ads. If anyone thinks I should take further steps about my concerns I’m all ears.

Some people have said I should apologise to the girl. Isn’t that what this thread is? An apology?

But you still didn't answer how you came to that conclusion? Had the girl reviews and were her photo verified?.
