I love "the spy who loved me", by far Roger Moore's best film. However cracking looking bird Barbara Bach wasn't much of an actress.

But I guess you wouldn't Barbara Bach acting in bed as it would be too mechanic

It has to be Connery. There wouldn't be a franchise if he hadn't embodied the role.
Dalton, despite the flaws with both films, was years ahead of his time by essentially taking the character in a similar direction to the one Craig would later be praised for.
Brosnan never really hit the heights of Goldeneye in his subsequent films, unlike Craig who at least departs from the role with a sizable body of work behind him, and no real stinker of a film. (QoS isn't all that bad, and could have been much better had the writers not gone on strike during production)
Moore and his perennially raised eyebrow can be best ignored.

Sean Connery all the way, followed by Roger Moore. Flemings bond was a suave, sophisticated lady's man. If I want a tough serious secret agent, I will watch the Bourne movies.

But roger moore was nothing like flemings depiction of bond, he amost played the character in a slapstick role, almost ruined the whole thing.

Sean Connery was the best because he had a nasty edge to him. A bit like Daniel Craig which I now like. But who has not seen those films a thousand times on UTV? I can't watch the old ones anymore, I have seen them to many times. But I grew up with Roger Moore so if you asked me years ago I would have said him! And he was in one of the be films with one of the best sound tracks.:





Simple Alison Doody she was and still is as sexy as fook & Irish to boot.

Favorite villein no clue they where all pretty bad.

A Vew to a Kill also had one the worst ever Bond Girls namely Tanya Roberts. A fine body and a pretty face but a god awful actress.
