Ooh my. Naughty in more ways than one I see

But ya, any modifications whatsoever than could potentially alter the cars performance must be divulged to the insurance company, cos heaven forbid you needed to make a claim and you didn't tell them about something, they'd use that against you in an instant.

    And mini-skirts as well

I,d say if you have any mods on the car , you better let them know.
Problem is , all ok until you have a crash , when any excuse to not pay out.
Other option is to buy an ordinary car ( I know too late )
Make sure you have the right tyre,s too , because they can blame them if they are not right and reduce the payout ( worn tyre,s included )

Had to buy your own pimpmobile. Ehhh

They now think you're a girl racer going to be mowing down people's grannies on their way to collect their pensions.

From an article dated March this year, surprisingly in car modifications such as bluetooth car kits, stereo changes also count as modifications that if not declared can void your policy should a claim arise.

TOP 10 MODIFICATIONS THAT WILL INCREASE THE COST OF PREMIUMS

    1. Fitting a turbo engine: 132% rise
    2. Change to car bodywork: 66% rise
    3. Transmission or gearing changes: 63% rise
    4. A complete body kit and panel: 57% rise
    5. Roll bars, roll cages and the removal of seats: 41% rise
    6. Changes to the paintwork: 36% rise
    7. Upgraded brakes: 36% rise
    8. Changes to the exhaust system: 26% rise
    9. Upgrading the suspension: 25% rise
    10. Adding stripes, decals or badges: 22% rise
