I would love to have your dilemma.

I'm scouting for hair but can't decide what suits me

Yes, if its gives you more confidence, if you are prematurely greying, if your partner is much younger than you and you don't want to look like her Dad, if you have a young child and you're 50 plus, etc.

Don't use "Just for Men", "Grecian 2000"....these can be obvious. Go to a colourist in a proper salon, don't worry lot of men do.

Don't mind the guys here....the ladies love men that look after themselves and care about their image.

Unless you look like George Clooney I'd go for it.

Its not a mid life crisis, its .........something else, just can't think of it

Thanks. That was my plan. Go to a colourist or stylist every 5 weeks or so. I suppose I'll be a little embarrassed the first time and then better after that. Same as seeing escorts I suppose. Thanks to all for advice.

You are what you are but you can always be better. No harm in a fellow taking a bit of pride in his appearance. If the OP feels the bit of grey makes him less attractive or affects his confidence, by all means he should try dying his hair. What's the problem with that?
I would suggest he does so sooner rather than later so it won't become too obvious to the people he knows well.
