I had feared this committee would succomb to TORLER Madness, but it did not!
It has literally demanded that solicitation by sex workers should no longer be a criminal offence and criminal records for it be quashed, and that to be done IMMEDIATELY!
It also recognizes there's a huge difference between any consenting adults having sex with each other and the trafficking of people for sexual exploitation!
There's a lot of common sense and basic decent humanity here!
The potential criminalization of the ordinary decent punter is not entirely off the agenda yet, but in its final report, it will highly probably be and a death knell for The Nordick Model in yet another civilized country!

But this is not the entire UK, or (both parts of) Ireland but England and Wales.

Ireland still run by the bogmen and bogwomen, or rather those who pander to bogmen and bogwomen's votes.

The recommendations seem reasonable and largely evidence and reality based reached after seeking in a fair way the various different perspectives. The difference between the way this committee went about its work and the approach of the ROI equivalent is stark. It is of some concern to me that we live in the land of the Bogman and Bogwoman and that this has produced parliaments North and South that suffer from a rather large democratic deficit.

This report should be sent to every TD and Senator in the somewhat vain hope that it may result in some productive amendments to Fitzers Bill

I'd say most TDs agree with it but are afraid of the bogmans vote.
