One thing I found though is when they cant bully you physically they try to do it mentally but that wont work either.

If you can naturally deploy the 1000 yard stare of the guy that flipped in Full Metal Jacket, you will find that very few will try to bully you and the fights will be less and less.. When approaching potential bully, you do not smile, you do not look at them, you look through them or look unflinchingly past the side of their head., do not speak and never move or lower your head. Watch self doubt and a desire for retreat appear on the potential bully's face(seen in your peripheral vision)
This advice does not apply to those thinking of a career in the diplomatic service or for those wishing to win Mr. /Miss Popular of the year. .

I was bullied but mostly by teachers but got the odd hiding from classmates . The thing is that you accepted that as you knew nothing different. Most Christian Brother's were phsyco's but a lot of the lay teachers were sadistic bastards. I met one classmate after we had left school & I had got a job we had both applied for. I felt so good cos he had beat the shite outa me years before. I wouldn't say that I was a bully myself but I did pick on & make fun of some classmates so I suppose that I was a bully of sorts. My biggest regret is staying away from the action as there were times , even in my adult life that I should have stood up for someone else but I didn't. That is my biggest regret.
So sorry Lu but I really can't answer the poll I'm afraid.
you right, it should be a multiple choice.
but I get what are you saying.
not acting, when you think you should have done, can haunt you for ages.
