Or this country could have gone down the route of full legalisation, brought the thing out of the shadows and let those who wish to work as sex workers do so and give them proper protection, while rigorously prosecuting anyone who engages in coercion.

in my opinion there is nothing wrong with prostitutes and what they choose to do, if it doesnt harm anyone thats all well and good.But the issue with the sex trade is the pimps and traffickers can see a marketplace in the sex trade so they will supply the huge demand and low risk ireland has to offer

Apart from all their clients being all sex hungry rapists yeah , Gardai have done multiple raids and have made one arrest in last year so I don't see your point when gangs are killing people on streets of Dublin , banks have given out bad loans connected to fraud should banks be illegal then ? , I understand pimps need to be wiped out and are scum orf earth but it's a minority and if escorting was completely legal it would meet your supposed aim of getting rid of trafficking
