I don't really understand it, so I just changed mine to 40 cm, but I'm a size 7 No idea if that is right or not. I'm just shy of 5' 8" in my stocking feet, so I consider myself to be in proportion. I can't have my feet touched anyway, so to be honest I don't see how it can impact on me in anyway, as you're not touching them lol.
