Thread: fake pictures

    Default fake pictures

a few months ago i made a booking with an escort
and the girl was not the girl in her pictures however she was pretty so i gave it a go .
that was a mistake and my negative review was removed because i should not have completed the booking with a fake

last tuesday i fell victim to the same scammer with another profile now calling herself different name, where here you can clearly see the fake pictures

i would say her likeness is possibly another girl

when she opened the door i knew there was a problem i said you dont look like the advert and her reply was "fake pictures that girl is off the tv" . i turned and left
    buyer beware!

Just out of interest. Why is this information restricted if it is true? Why are fake photo's protected? Does EI investigate these claims and talk to the sex workers in question after to ensure they change their photo's and get them verified?

unfortunately all the evidence has been removed by EI including my own reviews, hopefully they are investigating the workers in question

hello and a very good morning,

    just few things:

    1. please do not post links to the profile, names and telephone numbers as you can damage someone else's business with no proof which we could verify.
for this reason we advise you to post here, but refrain from disclosing too much information on the person itself.
provide the information via PM, if you need to share it with someone. It is rather common sense.

if we do not monitor this, this section can very quickly turn into pure badmouthing with no evidence.

    2. your review has been published, the escort however has opted out of reviews. very often the case after a bad review is published.

lets not forget that with reviews it is always one's words about another and and per se they are very subjective.
if the escort does not like what you wrote she can reply to it, or simply opt out of the reviewing system.

    3. as much as I understand this is inconvenient, there is no need to come here and imply our bad will or disposing of "evidence".

there is a tool on the profile to inform us of a fake pictures in use (in every advert's gallery), if a link is provided we will investigate.
and we do not force our advertisers to verify their pictures, if they prefer not to.

whether a profile is verified or now, this is nor a place to bad mouth anyone.

What is the point of saying that when referring to my post? It's not something I have done or encouraged. My post very clearly says, 'if it is true', which means I would expect there to have been an investigation by EI and for the evidence to back up the implication that the photo's are fake. False advertising is against the law and we're not talking a 'tweak' here, we are talking about using someone else's photo's, which do not resemble the person working. How can they if it is not them?

I understand that you don't force advertisers to verify their adverts, yet you are very quick to take verification off when there is very little doubt that the photo's are of the person advertising, due to years of advertising that show photo's of that same person. I'm even talking about times where the photo has not changed and you want it verified again and have asked people to put on the same clothes from their previous photo's totally ignoring the fact that people are often moving about and don't have them in their suitcase.

It doesn't make sense that the people who don't verify their photo's are protected, while the ones that do get such a lot of needless hassle. As I have said before, when photo's are submitted get the advertiser to show they are the person in the pictures at that point, while they have a photographer and the clothes they are wearing at hand. Why not make it compulsory? You don't have to show your face so what possible reason could there be for not complying?

As an advertiser it is of course in my interest to be advertising in a fair playing field. I'm sure you can appreciate that. It's a bit like applying for a job where you have your CV with real qualifications on them and go up against someone who has embellished their achievements and added some they don't have. Which person is going to get the call for the interview? The one who does everything is says on the tin, or the one that is offering the stars, moon and sun?

So where I appreciate no one wants to see an innocent person hung, drawn and quartered, I do think EI should do more to protect the Escorts that give this place it's good reputation and great reviews, without making out it's a bad thing to be fair.

This is an ongoing source of frustration, and as Kate says, the appearance is that nothing is done about this scamming.

I have never seen a post to let us know that a profile has been removed as a result of your investigations. Occasional feedback like that would give confidence that the site is doing something to protect clients and honest escorts, and be some deterrent to scammers. Are the cynics right who say that anyone who pays the advertising fee will continue to be accepted?

I can't remember the last time I even looked to see if photos were "verified". There's no point to even having it. I will look at reviews though to see remarks on whether or not the escort is the one in the photos.
