    Default EIR Tv

Anyone with Eircom or Eir as they are today for their TV?

    Any use?
Do they have to run wires around the house or is it Internet based and wireless?

    Anyone know?

Does that mean the TV connection is wireless?

    Wouldnt bother with that.

I get satellite TV for little or nothing. Including everything you pay subscription for. I can pm you with more details if you wish.

Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute

I'm happy with Eir, there is one main box and 3 connectors into plug sockets with small TV box. Coming from sky, Internet & quality of pic is higher with Eir , but I had the sky boxes for a few years.

No its wired from the modem to the set top box. They use power line adapters to get from the modem to the TV room / STB. So usually modem in the hallway then power line adapter to sitting room STB.

You don't need to wire from hallway to TV, the installer said he could put a wire from the modem in the hallway to TV room or use wireless. Wireless worked for me fine. The wire seemed very messy going over door frames etc..
