Most ,however are stuck in their ways / stuck in the 1960,s and used a leave vote as a punishment or spite vote .........they may live to regret being so uneducated.

TATA steel takeover is already in danger due to the leave vote being successful ,so that may be the first 11000 job losses already
Hopefully the Irish in the UK will still have NHS access ,as apparently now they have an extra £350,000,000 per week to pump into it . (#gullible)

Things may work out for them.........I hope they do..........but its disgraceful that so many of the leave voters haven't a clue what they were actually voting for and the POSSIBLE implications of doing so.
Perfect argument to end NHS, innit?

'Sorry lads, the EU are not giving us back all that money they stole'

    'Sorry lads, the check bounced'

'Sorry lads, you don't get free health care unless you are part of the EU'

'Sorry lads, I've no idea what you're on about. That was some bullshit you voted for when the Tories were in power'

I love the British, I really honest to fuck wholeheartedly do. They've a crisp mindset, a well thought out world view, an under appreciated sense of humour, and sexy as fuck accents. In general of course. But if you've ever met some of the dipshit Brits that show up in Amsterdam, Prague, Barcelona, Berlin, Marseille, or Vienna, and you happen to be an Irish outsider while the spectacle unfolds, then you get a telling glimpse of how devastatingly backwards some of them can be. Outside of 'Murrica there's no other nation that I can think of who are so offensively nationalistic.
To be fair you don't have to be an outsider looking in to be aware of this. I think the British are the same as anyone else, as in you will get some playing banjos, some who think that thinking is a waste of time and others that are intelligent and aware beyond the space around their own face. The main problem here is the complete and utter crap we were all fed prior to voting and some being more gullible than others. There is also the fact that different towns rely on different sources of income and may feel that they are better off out and others that can remember what it was like before the EU with an older population that are looking to recreate the past and forgetting that you can no longer buy a house for 15 grand any more, which also means the financial pressures have changed.

There are those that for some reason believed that the NHS would be better off regardless of the fact we were told numerous times that the actual cost per week was 190 million and not 350 million, yet there seems to be real shock that the nhs is not going to get this money. Like really?

I'm sure the UK is shaking in it's boots at the thought of possibly having to train it's own population to be nurses and doctors and not let people train a other countries expense and then employ their people, so anyone who thinks immigration is going to stop is also blind, deaf and dumb.

I know there are many people in Britain who are not proud to be British right now, but I guess it depends on how quickly we get back on our feet, accept what has happened and make sure it works that matters now.

Oh and with reference to crisp mindset. I had one person tell me that 'obviously I couldn't vote' because I'm resident in N.Ireland lol' and another person thought that if you were not currently living in the UK you could not vote, even if you were British, which is also not true as you just apply for a proxy vote. Many of which people didn't get by the way, which again adds to the farce this has been. A brit living in Europe is not likely to vote out.

if it was such a colossal fuck up, then why dont they say "no actually we didn't mean it, it was a protest vote! if we vote again we'll vote to stay in!" I mean its beyond stupid to 'stick' and have the attitude of no we voted we got a result (even if no one actually wants the result they voted for) and thats that no going back! height of stupidity no?vI mean really
if not then they must be overblowing the amount of people who would change if they could vote again

Once while in the UK for work I was asked if I got the train from Dublin that morning or the previous night. As I was ,I repeated that I had come from Dublin , at which point he asked me if it no longer ran from Dublin to Birmingham .

The best one though was when a car rental employee in Heathrow couldn't understand why I didn't have a UK driving licence if I was born and raised in Dublin.

There are stupid people everywhere ,but do they not do basic history / geography throughout schools in the whole of the UK (Even if they leave out the bits we all know might be a bit confrontational )

When I lived in London I had one Brit who use to like calling me 'Irish'
, as in 'Pick that ahit up Irish!

    I still love the Brits.
