Just got a txt from an escort completely out of the blue. It caught me on the hop and could have been a bit awkward.
Is it common practice for some girls to txt previous clients out of the blue asking if they want to make an appointment?
Or is it a bit out of order? Or am I overreacting.

On occasion I have been asked by clients to text them when I am in town, I usually decline as their situation may have changed however if I do text (on their request) I make it benign just saying hello and apologizing if I have a wrong number, plausible deniability is the best course of action..however I believe it best to have the client contact me. Likewise on occasion if I have received a missed call from someone I know well, I will send a blank text but otherwise if no message is left I wait for them to call back. Lauren

The general rule is that an escort will not text you. It is regarded as being very indiscreet.

Having said that many will text guys who they know it is safe to do so. For example, I get texts from girls who I have met previously but they know that it is okay for them to text me as I have told them so.

What does concern me is when I receive a text from somebody who I have not met in the past and who I have not contacted by phone. It has happened to me where I have received a text out of the blue purely with the intention of me booking an appointment.

Obviously numbers are being shared. I can understand this from the point of view of safety etc. but not from the point where it is used to try and gain business. I would say this is far from the norm but it has happened!
