Default maggots- how should they be handled?

luther brought up a mods dilemma

    https://www.escort-ireland.com/boards/70299-post20.html

basically as a moderator i moved the thread because if a thread is about or involves a maggot then they have the right of reply in soap-opera, thats my opinion.

If a post is a direct comment about a "maggot" then the "maggot" has a right to defend/speak up for themselfs. Moving the post across did 2 things. It gave the "maggot" a chance to defend himself and to express his side but it also avoided another thread being created on the same subject and the same topic being discussed all over the shop.
I think in this case Pats Bodyguard did the right thing... it may not have been the correct thing but in my humble opinion it was the only way to handle it.

another thing i can do is copy threads so that there is the same thread in each section. would that be a good alternative to just transfering them?

When lizzy was a maggot, threads were often moved over so she could respond, so why should it be any different for big Paws. he may be a maggot but he still has the right to defend himself.

And i agree 2nd time with epsi,
Epsi is the man and i m tired and going to sleep in couple mins........

I think there s no need to create thread in 2 places as maggotsstatus people ll get chance to defend themself and i think ppl who not maggotstatus should have common sense to post in soap strait way........

    Maggot rights?
    Maggot status?

I feel instictively drawn back to the 1960s......the hayday of the civil rights movement.

Cumon everbody, burn your bras (no not the expensive Victoria's Secret ones), take to the streets and lets protest about the war in Afghanistan, globalisation, the banking system and the high price of a leg-over.

Mari, pass the weed around brother as we all join hands. Everybody together now....." We shall overcum, we shall overcum, we shall overcum some day..hayhayhayhayhay. With hope in our hearts and a woody between our legs.......we're all going to cum today".

Well folks it was my thread that was moved.
Of course I considered where it should go re Bigpaws.
But in the end I decided it wasnt a Soap Opera thread, so why post it there?
Of course Paws should be able to reply. And that is the real problem.
With proper modding, NO ONE should be only confined to one section and using the Soap section for this is wrong.
If someone doesnt behave themselves, and ignore warnings, they should be banned.
    Not put somewhere else!

    i decided it was a soap-opera thread.

    1. current e-i policy - threads about modding go to soap-opera

    2. threads that cast up any of the "gates" dolly-qphgate, pawsgate or lizgate go to soap-opera

    and the final decider

    3. paws is mentioned 3 times as to why he shouldn,t be a mod.

the fact is we do have a maggot category for someone that misbehaves because banning is not a perfect solution because banned people can rejoin under an assumed name and ip. thats the way thing are.

And people who are maggots can't????????? They're just to honest I guess....

But thanks for the clarification on the other points, if that is current E-I policy, then you were quite correct...........
