If you worked in a nudist colony and refused to wear the birthday suit, should you be fired?

I think you probably should. Shouldn't the workers in a naturist colony be able to make guests feel natural and unselfconscious? I don't think you would be able to do so fully clothed.

I don't , but I understand how a company can want their staff to look smart.
Not the really the same as footwear that can cripple you.

Exactly. And that's my whole beef with this absurdity.

It's totally correct that she was sent home and in fact in olden times she would have been spanked as well by the boss or maybe caned for coming in without her proper shoes on and it's only proper to keep the standards up

I was interested to see that the women I work with were more on the side of PwC than Nicola Thorpe while the men were fairly evenly split. I'd be interested in the thoughts of posters here.
    This is the story

and here is an opinion piece which closely reflects what most of my female colleagues thought. Essentially, their high heels were part of their everyday professional armour for them, in the same way that suits are for the guys. One's appearance lends an air of authority and competence and is a reflection of the corporation's brand.

If women in the workplace dont follow any dress code or do what they are told to do the nearest male should put them over his knee and give them six of the best!

Unfortunately if a nudist saw my birthday suit, they'd probably send it to the dry cleaners.
