I can hardly wait to see what spin the TORLers put on this story. One sure thing is everybody will milk it for all it's worth.
And if it is true then it'll be interesting to see how this woman is treated in comparison to the male Garda who was accused of raping an escort a few years ago.

As all members of the E-I Community are well aware, there is an ongoing debate as to whether or not to introduce Swedish-style Legislation in relation to the sex industry in Ireland.

To be honest (and I could be wrong), but is not possible that TORL/Ruhama created the profile in question (and subsequently manipulated the media) in order to portray a "zero tolerance" approach to sex workers and their clients by An Garda Siochana (I know, I know ), and thus strengthen TORL/Ruhama's argument in any future lobbying for Swedish-style Legislation.

Nothing strange about that. They are men too. I dont know to had a Garda client in Ireland but i had a police officer in London and was one of my regular and never told me he is until i discovered accidentally. Same in London i had a regular client a politician ....so they are not men? that's is some great post as always wow, I understand the points you are making, that they (male guards) are men too and it ok for them to have female company also. My double standards point i meant it towards the top brass in the guards who may sanction this alleged female guard for escorting (if true we dont know yet)

That it (any sanction towards a female guard) is very hypocritical as some of their male guards visit escorts.
