One of the great scandals, imho, of the Irish Justice System.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larry_...%28criminal%29

The problem with Larry Murphy is that he is strongly suspected of being a serial killer and is regarded as a danger to the public. He was released because it wasn't proven.
If he was a serial killer, as suspected, he had abducted women off the street in broad daylight and would be very dangerous.

Larry Murphy has served his time whether we like it or not. I don't see why this thread should be allowed.

There are plenty of bad people around: murderers, rapists, paedos etc but we don't know their names or their faces. Has Larry Murphy had any known involvement with escorts? Sorry, but this is likely to only create hysteria and scare people for no reason.

I would normally agree with the above sentiments.
And I do believe that Murphy would be very stupid to reoffend.
And there has been much unnecessary hysteria over sightings of him.

But still, he is possibly still dangerous.
Quote, (Wikipedia) “During questioning about the woman's injuries, it was reported that Murphy commented: "Well, she's alive isn't she?" and: "She was lucky", and showed no sign of remorse or guilt. Even though a life sentence was available to the court and would mean Murphy could be held in custody indefinitely, Judge Carney sentenced Murphy to only fifteen years (taking into account Murphy's guilty plea which spared his victim having to testify in court and highlighting the fact that sentences by him had been overturned by the Criminal Court of Appeal) and he served just ten. Murphy was sentenced before the Sex Offenders Act was introduced in 2001 so he is not subject to a post-release supervision order.”

    Also,
Although only convicted of this crime, Murphy is regarded as being the prime suspect in the disappearance of a number of young women in the mid to late 1990s in the Leinster area, when he was known to be living in the region. These women have become known in popular parlance having disappeared within "Ireland's Vanishing Triangle". The list of vanished women include:

    Eva Brennan (1993)
    Annie McCarrick (1993)
    Imelda Keenan (1994)
    Jo-Jo Dollard (1995)
    Fiona Pender (1996)
    Fiona Sinnott (1998)
    Ciara Breen (1998)
    Deirdre Jacob (1998)

No other such disappearances occurred while Murphy was in prison.

That's a little easy for you to say. You're not the one opening your door to strangers who are all stronger than you and allowing them in. At least now they are aware and can put a face to the name.

People are going to be scared unnecessarily. The next step is going to be organising a lynch mob like happened in Dublin:

Murphy done his time and is probably being watched very closely.

I wouldn't exactly say unnecessarily, and if they are alert and aware I think that's a good thing.
I can't imagine clients wanting to meet let alone organise a lynch mob so I don't see how the warning here could lead to that. We should probably just agree to disagree on this. It's not either of us in the vulnerable demographic.

Lets not sling mud here lads and girls
Let this thread be a warning for all the escorts here to be careful
As long as they know what he looks like they then do not have to open the door to him

I was talking to a girl I know an hour ago. Apparently he is living in the Tower Street area of the city. On Corks southside off Barrack Street.

    Westside.

Sex workers are among the most vulnerable of lone workers and if there is information out there that could keep us from meeting a complete psychopath with no regard for human life, we should, as common sense suggests share that information and inform each other.

It's nothing to do with a lynch mob, this is about our safety. Something with joe00 is seemingly overlooking. As someone else said, they are not the ones opening the door to strangers. We are.
He felt her hands slide slowly up his thigh, he couldn't stop himself from growing hard. She caught his eye and in that second he knew: This erotic, sensual Lady is bold if she is anything. She would be upto mischief in no time...

I completely agree with you and I think you did the right thing in posting a warning. I think I phrased it badly but I was trying to say the same thing.
