I don't want to seem like I am defending a rapist here but we have all had times where we lost the head and did something really fucking stupid. I know I have. Got into a fight with a cyclist once and gave my gf an open-handed slap when I was dumb young fella.

Larry Murphy may be on the right path now. We just don't know. We are talking about him here in this thread as if he is actively stalking some prey. I am not sure that is the case.

But the fact remains that he is a dangerous convicted rapist and would-be murderer who showed a level of skill at abduction that indicates either previous experience or a lot of advance planning.

Jesus Joe, you seriously need to cop on to yourself. He served his time, but now he is free to commit another crime and since sex workers tend to work in vulnerable situations, as in a room on their own in a career that is frowned upon things like this are essential so we can try and avoid being the next victim. If you can't see that then I really am wondering what your motive is for defending him? If I was working in Cork and saw that face before opening the door, then potentially I've just had my life saved.

Well, I would not see him if I were an escort. I just think it is best not to worry too much about him. He is a funny fish alright but he is being watched closely, probably has to sign in every day and I just think people should get on with their lives and not freak out over him being in the general area. Like I wrote, there are plenty of total weirdos out there who would do bad things if they could but we don't know their names or faces.

Larry Murphy is a scumbag but he is not worth worrying about or losing sleep over.

The man the got the living shit kicked out of him by an angry mob. I do not think this is how things should be. That day it was a legitimate paedo. Who is to say it would not be someone with a grudge against you spreading rumors about you and then before you know it you will be getting the shite kicked of you by a baying mob.

That paedo did not and should not have been bashed up, mate. I will state that clearly.
