I have, occasionally, reported a post where forum rules have been obviously broken, and the breach has been possibly missed by the moderators.

I have noticed a decline in the overall standard of moderation, but then again, after the departure of Herr Samlad, it was always going to be lighter.
Don't even imply things should go back to the way he had them. That said, contrary to some posters belief I'm same as you, I only report serious rule breaks and very very rarely abusive posts towards me and even then if it's obvious they're looking to induce a reaction that they can report.

Ah you can say one thing for Sam, he had posters like you under control. You started this thread to claim you wanted people to speak freely toward you. Well, here's some speaking freely for you - your apparent pleasant demeanour is thin at best, you have a nasty habit of creating problems for escorts with malicious and downright bitchy threads and your apparent obsession with this forum has led you to hang around under many guises while banned under this ID, being equally horrid.

Hi Lucy, I'm so glad you felt so strongly to voice your opinion. Glad you did as you are a valued member.

I shouldn't think I felt strongly about it. I have opinions on the welfare of wombats and other roadkill too. I'm interested in animal welfare

Well, it appears you are back Anon. Let's see what you do with the reprieve.

She was telling you politely that she doesn’t value your member.

I just read your post again Lucy, many guises, you need to do more homework..Many impersonators but only 1 me.

Can you please enlighten us who you think I was or is this just another one of your unfounded accusations.

Please, I know for you it will be hard but remain civil, I don't want to be drawn out by you and banned

This is not because the post has upset them in some format but because the reporter is being a tit.

I think they should do away with the report button.
If you feel strongly enough about a post then take the time to PM.
I have reported twice when I saw posts that I thought urgently needed taken down because they were maliciously "outing" personal information. One was taken down so quickly that I don't know if anyone else saw it I wouldn't report for any other reason, but I think the button is needed for these cases.

I agree that reporting because you are losing a war of words shouldn't be allowed. Those battles are what makes the forum interesting!

Many impersonators? Who'd be silly enough? Can I really be arsed pulling any troll post I think was probably you? Nope. Later maybe, if I get bored watching paint dry. I haven't got a problem with being civil, nor do I have an interest in you getting banned, you will do that all by yourself when you next throw your toys out of the pram over a TV, or a Brazilians and their odour type threads. Off I toddle

See? There are lots of reasons people report posts. Perhaps if people didn't worry about others perception of things life would be simpler.
