Default When You Join A Forum.......

Do you think it is better to play the thick at first until you know your way around & who's who?

Or be yourself and jump right in no matter what that might be?

Or just be a smart ass if that is you usually?

    Just wondering like?

As I think some new posters shoot themselves in the foot sometimes for all of the reasons above.

    What you think?

I think that it's hard to tell who really are the genuine new poster's or if it is some troll that has been banned using a new name.
They seem civil enough at first but soon show their true colours.

I only joined because a escort asked me to put up a review for her,if I was able to put the clock back I would not join,it takes up to much off my time,I would only use it to book girls,I would have more time for my other hobbies,

Better to be yourself, rather than observe the style of the forum and join in. I respect the guys - new or otherwise - who post what they have to say rather than what they think the regulars want to hear.

On the other hand, if you're new, do a bit of looking around before asking a question to make sure it's not the same question that a hundred newbies have asked before.

I'm only on one other forum which relates to my profession but on both I am myself. I wouldn't see the point of posting to please people.
It may be a chicken and egg scenario but to me this forum can seem like a closed club so I haven't interacted all that much.

    Not true.

If you have something to say, just say it.

New members do tend to be ignored around here for a while unless you scream and shout for attention. And not everybody wants to do that. You're contribution might seem helpful or spot on, but many posters have probably heard it a thousand times already & not respond.

That does not mean someone looking at your post has not been helped, amused etc.

I was ignored for a long time, hell some peeps still ignore me.
