    Apocalypse Now
    Blade Runner
    Metropolis
    Psycho
    Eraserhead
    A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night
    Oldboy
    Akira

    Depends on the person

    The Shawshank Redemption, can still watch it time and time again......The Breakfast Club also a close contender for me

    Vertigo !.......................wasn't Hitchcock a genius.
    He was an exceptional intellectual and creative powerhouse.

    I am actually surprised nobody has mentioned two Iconic movies of their generation. The first being the classic 80's movie "The Breakfast Club"
    & the movie that has changed the way movies were made forever and is now 40 years old this week it has to be Star Wars.
    Just my opinion

    Love old movies from the 30's through to the 60's.

    Too many to mention but anything by Hitchcock,Rear Window being one of my favourites.
