He's a massive loss the to Irish squad as he was head of development. Not so much to Katie as she has her own training scheduals and routines, and she effectively a freak of nature. I think I read her dad is no longer in her corner for personal reasons, this may have being a factor. It might be a tall ask for her to retain her Olympic gold.

I hope I'm wrong.

All of these factor,s at the same time do not help.
I think she should have retired and gone into some of the promotion jobs available at that time
She was hot property at the time

Yes she looks like she is past her best. She has been a great ambassador and a talented boxer. However, not sure she will win in Rio if she gets there. Indeed, there are many including myself who believe she was more than a shade lucky to win the gold medal bout in London.
