I don't know what it is with newbies but they seem to levitate towards those ladies who have "opted out" of the review system. It does not matter what advice is given on the forums many seem to think they are onto a good thing when they spot such a girl advertising!

Personally I feel that EI should put more effort into screening and finding fake adverts as part of the service provided for the advertisers who pay top dollar for their advert. That should come with a guarantee of a minimum amount of fake competition, which works two fold, as it removes doubt that we too may be fake and reduced competition that is not just dishonest, but deliberately scamming clients.

Forum members reporting fake adverts should be the exception and not the norm, as in a once in a blue moon discovery. They should not be making it through to going live. This may be a full time job for someone in the office, but considering the cost of the advertising (particularly in Ireland/N.Ireland) that cost should be covered. This does not mean you have to reject the adverts, simply get them to conform to the same standards and criteria as the rest of us seem to have to follow.

I nearly always travel to ensure seeing genuine ladies, not unusual to go 45-60 mins drive. Feel it is well worth while to avoid bad visits.

what is a joke too is that if you put in a bad review it takes ages for it to be published if at all but a good review goes up immediately, very poor form by E-I but not surprised

I suppose this is a fair point — I hadn't really thought about that! I moan when there only a few ladies in D18, but there are 24 ladies there today to choose from but if I'm not happy I can go 10 minutes down the road to D4 where there are 17 or over to D2 where there are currently 24!

That's a better choice that in the entire county of Cork which only has 46 at the moment so I now take your point about the smaller towns.

I think I'd do the same if I didn't have the choice I do here but maybe it's not possible for some guys.

Say you have to travel 100Km to see a lady — how do you explain that if you have a wife or partner? The family car returns 3 hours later with and extra 200Km on the odometer! What is something happened to the car while you were away? It's easy enough to make up an excuse about what you were doing if something happened locally but 100Km away?
