Is that a serious question? If so, I'd say only you have the answer. If you'd be comfortable with visiting an escort whilst maintaining your relationship with your girlfriend, then why not? If you think you'd be wracked with guilt afterwards, then maybe don't visit the escort. If you think a year is a long time, btw, try being married. Seriously, though, a year does seem a long time - particularly for a couple who are freshly together (and can I assume you're both young?). Have you asked her why she's not ready? And I don't mean that in a bitchy way, maybe it's for religious reasons or maybe she's just apprehensive. Talk to her - you've really nothing to lose - and be ready to listen. Things are better out in the open. Maybe don't mention the escort question to her, though ..

I'm not just talking about condoms, but there are other contraceptives you can use along with condoms to completely minimise the chance of getting pregnant.
Then of course there are medical procedures that can be done, but that's a very long term permanent solution, but that's not very appropriate here since you've only been going out a year.

I dont want to sound harsh but you have an escort review up for May 2015 which is ten months ago. So if you have been with this girlfriend for over a year then you visited an escort while in this relationship.
This makes your opening question asking how bad of you to, as you put it, get sex from an escort, pointless. You have already visited an escort while seeing this girl, according to your review.
