It probably was and it is likely to be true. 
That is close to my attitude when I first started seeing escorts. Better GFE than you get from a girlfriend or wife or certainly from a girl you met at a club.
It is only when you see some of the really good escorts that some of your earlier experiences seem not as good by comparison.
