I'm a bit concerned about the likes of Ruhama's idiots reading this thread and labelling us as offering some support for this criminal.
Because this is what he is. Both legally and in my mind morally he was wrong, completely wrong.

Some respect needs to be shown on here.
If you know the person that you are sending messages too, having sex with is under the age of 16 then you are breaking the law.
If you're male or even female, the law is the same both sides.
If you are paying for sex with anybody under the age of 18, you are breaking the law.
Many children (not all) do look older than they are, but it doesn't matter how old they look or how mature they may act.
If you are caught doing anything with an underaged child, you are breaking the law, it is as simple as that.
The footballer knew the age and was caught out, simple as that.
Many of us are sexualy active at the age of 15, some younger unfortunately, but it doesn't give anybody the rights to sleep with an underaged child.

It's simple really the legal age of consent in the UK is 16 not 15 and he knew that she was under age ok maybe not at the start. But even when he found out he kept on seeing her and texting her so i think he deserves the sentence he is given. Yes people have said everyone makes mistakes well this is going to be one costly mistake for him. If he just thought about what he was doing with his big head instead of his little head he might have realised what he was risking by carrying on seeing her but he didn't so now he will just have to suffer the consequences of his stupidity. And people are arguing here that they don't see anything wrong with Johnson sleeping with a 15 year old because they say some 15 year olds are more mature and sexually experienced than some older women. Or quoting the age of consent in other countries when that's all irreverlent in this case when we are talking about uk law.
